Review on CARFIB Mazda Phone Holder Mount by Mitchell Watson

First of all, this is a great and inexpensive option for installing a phone in the CX-30! It doesn't block the vents much and is in a convenient location. It also goes very well with the dashboard! However, there are two problems with the design. It doesn't stay in place without tweaking something. The tabs attaching it to the vent aren't long enough to hook firmly, so the glue does most of the work of holding it in place. The problem with the adhesive is that it isn't very strong and it doesn't sit in the best place on the mount. I took about 12 lb of 3m double sided tape and put a strip where the bracket connects to the vent and another strip at the top under the two tabs. It sticks to the air vent and dash which looks like it should work in the long run!
