I was very disappointed with this 1/8 inch blade. As I assembled and turned the wheels by hand, I noticed a significant "walk" to the back of the blade, right where the ends were welded during manufacture. This caused the saw blade to knock against the rear bearing once for every revolution while the saw was running. It's almost as if it's misaligned when held horizontally during the welding process. As I bought it over a year ago and just installed it, I can't return it. I will however contact Olson and see if they send a second one which hopefully doesn't have this problem. * * * * * [UPDATE 2014-02-21] After contacting Olson and explaining the issue, they sent a replacement blade with no questions asked. I installed it on my Craftsmen 10" band saw and after some adjustments (tension, blade opening centering, guide adjustment) it worked like a rough 3" birch plywood champ for a jig I was making. After the cuts were made I noticed the teeth were filled with dust, so it's probably too thick for such a small blade. At the same time, the cuts were flawless and the blade was guided perfectly. The rating was upgraded to four stars due to excellent customer service, but received no star because one of those improperly welded blades passed quality control. If you have a good blade it should work great. Highly recommended.
