Bought for our rescue Boston Rat Terrier mix who is ALWAYS cold even in the summer. We will dress her in sweaters in the fall, otherwise she won't go out because she's so cold. It is very similar to a human sweater in thickness and material. The red and black check looks cute. I gave it a 4 for stretch because it actually stretches TOO much and too easily. After wearing it for a while, we noticed that she slipped right out of the sweater when stepping on it. I used the measurements on the website and it initially fitted perfectly, but after wearing it once or twice it stretched and wouldn't go back to the original size. For this reason, I would recommend downsizing.
