Love the concept and the price. The size, weight and hand feel are great, the stability is great, the optics are great. Some things need improvement. Every adjusting screw and every ball head feels like sand. If you break the ball head it will go flat but the set screws need lube to feel better. I used some Tefgel lube which helped a bit and allowed me to actually tighten the ball head set screw tighter than without the lube. By the way, don't grease the ball, that's a bad idea. The last thing that needs improvement is the adhesive that attaches the rubber grip strips to the legs. They started to peel off after a few hours of use. I'm tempted to glue them with something because they give my feet a nice non-slip feel when used as a grip. I might as well just put some tape on the legs instead because I can already tell that this grip isn't going to stay. In general, I think the design is brilliant, the usability can be greatly improved by lightly lubricating a few screws, but that's not the case. It's easy to see why this is one of the cheapest table tripods on the market.
