If you are breeding feeder insects such as crickets, cockroaches, mealworms or superworms, or if you are buying in bulk, this cricket feed is a must. At $12-$13 for a 6 pound can, you can't beat the price. It costs half as much as buying small containers of cricket food. The cricket food itself is great. My crickets love it and I have very few dead crickets in the cage. There's some left that crickets won't eat, but not much. If you overfeed your crickets, they tend to become fussy and leave behind more waste. This is a complete, calcium-fortified diet for crickets, so you can give your crickets that plus water and stop there. super easy. This is a good straining food, meaning your reptile or amphibian will get plenty of nutrition from eating insects fed this food. I've heard it works well on dubia roaches and mealworms too. I raise crickets and in a few months I still haven't used a quarter of that can. But it stays fresh, so don't worry here. I would definitely recommend this product if you are growing or buying feeder insects in bulk.
