I bought this box hoping that given the price it would be a relatively sturdy hinged lid storage box. What I got was something that's best for holding items that have no weight. such as ultra-light pillows or bubble wrap. First, the underside is so thin that it appears to have been made as thin as possible, but it's not visible through the plastic. It feels like it's thin. Nothing substantial can be put into this thing as the soil will not withstand it. The only salvation is that the ground will eventually touch the ground. The block is made of 100% plastic. No metal hinges, no screws to hold the sides together, nothing. The sides are simply pressed into the recesses of the parts. It's sturdy enough to put something on, but I'd trust it to hold together with something substantial inside. Overall, the block now acts like a shelf, because I wouldn't be able to hold what I wanted to put in without additional reinforcement. Structure. I gave the device 2 stars (instead of 1) because it is "ok" as a shelf. But for the price, it's definitely overpriced for what you get. If you have any woodworking skills I would suggest building it yourself as you can probably make it cheaper than this with much better results.
