My daughter used these knives at work and raved about them, so I bought a set. The small paring knife chipped before I could even use it. I contacted the seller and was sent an entire new set. None of the other knives have chipped yet and I have kids who use them also. They are very sharp. I try to hand wash but I know they have been in the dishwasher a time or two.
