5.11 is a great solid device and does not disappoint my expectations. However, the dual buckle design is something that takes some fiddling with until you get the hang of it. It was a bit fiddly until I figured out how to do it quickly and easily haha. So since it doesn't come with instructions, let me help you avoid the hassle! 1. Then hold BOTH buckles together and pull the strap through both.2. Bend the upper smaller buckle over the belt you just threaded.3. Take the strap and slip it over this smaller buckle (go around it) 4. Pass the strap THROUGH the larger buckle OVER the smaller buckle.5. Overlap the buckles and pull the belt tighter. 6. Donning/To ease the tensioning of the strap, simply press the strap firmly against your body from the side while pulling the end of the strap more through the buckles (towards the hand holding the strap on your body). A positive "lock" prevents it from loosening. But you need to hold it securely with other hand to tighten it. I wanted to provide some instructions because I've never had a double buckle belt before and had no idea how to do it effectively. Needless to say, this was a much more complicated, frustrating and inefficient process than I needed, haha I felt like an idiot when I found it out! So I hope this really helps XD Spare yourself some of the troubles I see many others are as confused as I am. You are not alone! Great product for the price even if it's a little more than you could spend on others. However, it looks gorgeous with the black silver tone 2; I love that accent! From all points of view this is a great buy for a casual, tactical and even more professional belt; It will meet all your needs and will last very well!
