Let's be honest. Golf shoes are ugly. They're either too simple, too formal, or too stylized. Except these! I really like the old school look and there is nothing like it on the market today. BUT. CONS: * The spikes are attached with metal bolts rather than the plastic quick release mechanisms used for the last 20 years. Old-fashioned yes, but very impractical. they unscrew in no time. I even lost a pair that was secured with ThreadLocker Blue.* The included cleats are soft rubber and only last a few laps.* Soles are flat with no arch support. I have almost flat feet, so that's not a problem for me, but be careful.* The sole is thin and very flexible, almost like a moccasin. I can feel the cleat attachment points through the soles.* The heels are a little clunky and I have a blister on my right heel. However, it's not uncommon for new shoes to leave blisters on my heels, so it may have more to do with my feet than the shoes. PROS: * Love looking at them! They are just super stylish and unique. I get compliments regularly.* The price is pretty good, although I have to buy replacement cleats.* The fit is accurate and the toe cap is roomy enough.* They seem "waterproof enough" for the conditions I regularly play in .* After a dozen rounds and hours on the range, the shoes are intact and seem to be holding up well.* They offer enough stability for their intended purpose. I am a serious golfer and play every day. I've looked at hundreds of pairs of shoes and tried dozens from all the major brands. For some reason, this is the only shoe that really caught my attention, so much so that I'm willing to address its shortcomings. As long as they continue to hold up well enough I will continue to buy them.
