Revainrating 5 out of 5

Be careful, but if you don't mind, this is a solid buy. 4 stars for reasons found in review

First off, the Chromebook itself is excellent, one of the few budget models with 1080p and long battery life. It arrived in "like new" condition, although it has been refurbished (probably a return). This is a $179 bargain and deserves a 5-star rating for the previous reasons. However, anyone who is very picky or sensitive to (small) decoy and switch tactics online should be aware of a possible buying problem. restored model. There are two versions of this Chromebook: C5EX and C5FM. The advertised model is C5FM. You can, like me, get a C5EX with a reprinted label stuck over an old C5EX label on the box instead (the Chromebook itself retains the correct C5EX badge). This can spoil the experience for some buyers; However, there is only one functional difference between the two models. C5FM (the model advertised has an SSD) and C5EX (the model I received has an eMMC). Yes, SSDs have faster read/write times and better and upgradable firmware than eMMC, so there is a difference between the two models. But honestly, for the intended use case of a budget Chromebook (YouTube, paying bills, an Amazon Prime browsing device), this difference is negligible. If you want to use this as a portable productivity device. maybe look elsewhere.
