Both pairs caused a tear on both shoes at the junction of the mesh webbing and the heavy-duty tape on the outside of each shoe, next to my pinky toe on each foot. The same spot on each shoe of each pair. I don't abuse my shoes. I wear these ON Flyers as my everyday walking shoes. I use Brooks and Ascics for workouts and all types of runs. At over $160 a pair, I'm very disappointed that the fabric ripped so easily. This wear and tear began to show about 90 days after wearing both pairs. Not immediately, but too early for a shoe at this price point. Otherwise I enjoyed them. I probably won't spend that much again just to see it a third time. ON match your quality to your value or you'll slowly lose your customers and wonder why.
