Good filter, good price as usual. Our DC41 started smelling quite ripe. The filter was cleaned as instructed but the smell returned. We washed the body of the cyclone as best we could, but after drying it still stunk. I was able to pry off the body of the cyclone with a flat head screwdriver and what I found disturbed me. The entire interior was covered with white, scaly mold. After an overnight soak with bleach, followed by a thorough cleaning with an old bottle brush, I was able to restore the device to its former glory. no more smell If your Dyson stinks, take it apart and clean everything inside the cylinder.
