I would give more stars if I could, this item meets my expectations for what I wanted and needed. I had Litter Genie years ago when it first came out. I think I threw it away even though I knew I didn't like it. After doing a little research I was looking for someone who could do a direct comparison between throwing champion and throwing genius, but I couldn't find one anywhere. I know everyone has their own opinion and gives importance to the different things they appreciate about products, but I wanted them to stand side by side. After reading and researching many reviews, it became clear that most people "liked" what they were getting (or knew). I'm guilty of that too, since I went with what I originally knew. Of course, once you get used to trash cans or taking out the trash every time someone leaves, everything is better. I had never heard of Litter Champ until I started doing some research. I wanted to know what the main differences are, so I hope my video answered that question, but here's a quick overview - Litter Champ: • Large capacity • All in one for easy switching from old to new bag (with cutter or razor) . blade built into door) Don't even need to bring scissors • Spring-loaded top helps lock in odors and leaves debris easily (additionally, it can be locked to make cleaning easier) • Foot pedal, no hands required to set down (especially important when if you're a dustpan right inside) • The shovel and hook are much nicer and separate from the item • The latches actually stay closed and locked Throwing genius: • The latches don't stay closed and the main compartment opens when an attempt is made to shut them Spring loaded cutter version • The cutter itself makes no sense, you're exposed to what's in there as soon as you bend over and put it down with two hands (the smell overwhelms you) • You have to use two hands to use the cutter and stabilize the Litter Genie • The cutter almost destroys the capacity of the Litter Genie • Made from cheap m plastic and scratches easily • Shovel is a cheap addition Locks by inserting a plastic hook into main compartment • A nightmare to change bags and you waste so many bags • Better carry scissors as they don't have a built in cutter. • I have noticed that when using a cutter, putting dirt directly into the device can damage the device, causing an odor and making it almost impossible to clean. out.Litter Genie has marketing power, but it's not in the same galaxy as Litter Genie. When it comes to what matters; It's about how much it can hold so I don't have to constantly take it out, sniff it, and finally, can the various components be used for their intended purpose? The answer to all of these questions for the Litter Champion is YES. As for Litter Genie, the answer is NO. The throwing genius holds almost nothing, while the throwing champion's capacity was almost equal to that of the entire throwing genius as a whole. The smell from the cheap plastic that kept falling apart was unreal. After all, you can't even use it properly. You must have two hands to open the top. So what do you do when you just aim to put it down?!?!?! Then you pour it and think I can pull out the cutter to seal the smell, then to your horror the whole bottom cracks open and the smell almost makes you vomit.
