Just installed today. You need 2 hands for the installation. Cut the rubber strip in half and glue it on each side, otherwise it won't fit. You also need to install the screws flush and choose the right screw length to avoid scratching yourself with a screw that is too long. Take your time gathering and tightening it up. It's heavy and strong, making it much easier to turn the wheel with one hand. What it does is best described as extra power steering. It's now 1.5 times easier to turn the steering wheel with one hand.
