Works great! I bought a new one, not restored, as some write. I received an additional heat duct for a living room about 20ft by 20ft. Florida was having a severe cold snap (30's, 40's) and we just wanted to heat the part of the house we used most without turning on the cpu. It worked even better than I expected. It has a handy timer and digital thermostat, is very light for its size and is quiet (big plus!). It has louvers/levers to direct the airflow up/down instead of side to side. I don't mind. It has proven to be best to push it a little further before planning to settle in. In my case it took a while to get to a comfortable temperature but once that happened the thermostat held the level really well. Very happy with the value for what I paid. Paid more for inferior devices in the past so very happy with it.
