Buy this knife! You will thank me every time you use it and since this will be the only knife you will use most of the time you will be very grateful to me. I ordered this to replace my bread knife and can't believe I hit the knife jackpot with this little beauty. It slices bread perfectly and effortlessly which is what I was hoping for. But it also cuts EVERYTHING ELSE perfectly and easily. Meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and just about anything else you can think of. My dear slicers are on vacation, so I always reach for them. It is very sharp, glides smoothly and is easy to clean. I don't put mine in the dishwasher, mainly because I use it all the time, but also because I take very good care of it so that it lasts a very, very long time.
