A near-perfect alternative

So here's what you need to know: It's basically a near-perfect replica of the old official Xbox 360 controller with the same dimensions. The buttons feel the same. Sticks feel the same. The battery compartment is identical and will work with batteries designed for the 3rd party controller. It connects to the Xbox 360 PC Wireless Controller Receiver (but does NOT have Bluetooth; you need the receiver to use it with a PC) and shows up as an Xinput device, so it works with all your latest PC games out of the box . .I even weighed two controllers. They weigh the same (7.4 ounces) so it's likely they have the same or nearly identical parts inside. Management is pleasant. The buttons are responsive. There are only a few minor differences between this and the official controller. Firstly, there is obviously no Xbox logo on Astarry (there is no cross on the home button and no Xbox 360 logo above it. There is also a place for a hologram, but of course there is no hologram on the home button) . Astari). Second, the home button light blinks in a pattern instead of staying on all the time when paired. That's all. I like the controls. That's all I was hoping for, ie I wanted the Xbox 360 controller to be similar to the official one but at the lowest price point and that's as close to my goal as possible. It's awesome. I was a bit sad that blue is more expensive than black. I would love blue, but I see no point in paying more for a different color. Please note that it does not come with a PC receiver for Xbox 360 controllers, which are sold separately. I have two; One is official and the other is cheap fake and both will work with this controller. I don't have an Xbox 360 anymore, so I can't test this on a console, but I suspect it will connect to the Xbox 360 with no issues either, since it connects wirelessly to the receiver - such perfect replicas of the original Xbox controllers 360, which they also inherited from the Xbox 360 controller Two known issues with the Xbox 360 controller: First, the analog sticks are overly sensitive, making delicate movements difficult in some games and requiring the game's sensitivity to be set too low. or extend dead zones with third-party software. Second, the D-Pad is an 8-way disc-shaped pad, not an inlaid cross. This means that sometimes you can press left or right when you want to press down or up. The controller's design takes some getting used to, but it's not a "bug" - it's just how Microsoft designed the original, and that's reproduced here. If you are looking for a cost-effective alternative to the official controller, this is your best choice. I'm not just saying that. This is a really great third party controller. Five stars if you understand what you are getting.
