that's the ideal weight for a good paperweight
This pen holder is a quality accessory at a very reasonable price. It is a heavy die-cast aluminum, ideal as a paperweight. While it doesn't have the realistic holes that go through the bottom end like some competing devices, that feature wouldn't be very handy and would render it useless as a good paperweight. The holes are large enough for standard office scissors and a large sharpie marker (the largest is cylindrical with a pocket clip). I like delineating each hole as the handles and scissors are separate, stand upright and look neater.
