so glad i got these instead of fixed sockets. They're a bit bulky, but not unsightly. Additional sockets as a gift! The best thing about them is the price and flexibility. If the USB standard changes (and it will), I won't have to bother with removing permanent connectors. Disable and replace. Done Update: 4/2/18 Ok. I have bought many of these now. 5, to be precise, and never in the bedroom. Living room, kitchen, office and basement. So I installed one in our bedroom and the light was insanely bright! Can easily be used as a night light. Unfortunately it was so bright that I had to put tape on it. Disgustingly bright! So if you also need a night light, this is perfect. It's still a great product, so I'm only deducting 1 star. I don't understand why light is needed at all. cool factor?
