Review on Quarble Air Vent Car Mount | Compatible with Magsafe Charger | 360° Rotation Holder by Aaron Urena

Bought this wheel mount as I was looking for something to hold my 12 Pro Max. It's actually quite impressive and minimalistic for the price. The round shell holds MagSafe perfectly, and during normal city rides, speed bumps, etc., my big Pro Max hasn't been dropped once in 2 weeks. Some credit goes to Apple's MagSafe, of course, but for the price it works great and integrates great. The clip on the vent is its weakest point. This is a basic two size slide clip - nothing to tighten like I've seen on some of the better designs. What happens in the two vehicles I tested it on is that the weight tipped my clamps down until the clamp itself stopped. Not a big deal, but the vent is slanted downwards and I had to adjust the hinge up to compensate. It's not noticeable as MagSafe covers the vent. The negative effect is that it will blow out or heat the air conditioner. However, with companies trying to come up with automotive variants of the iPhone 12, this is a good early option for the price. I tried taking it apart and attaching it to the awesome Lisen fan holder. (hook design) but the size of the balls didn't fit. If they improve the vent mount so it doesn't tip my vents down I will give it a positive 6 star rating. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy and try.
