I am using this to connect another HDMI monitor to my computer which my GPU only has 1 HDMI from. I used to use a switch but I needed my old dual monitor setup so I needed an adapter. This one had the best rating out of the three I looked at. I have an FHD monitor and a UHD monitor (1080p and 4K). Thinking it would be great for my 4K, I initially hooked it up to a 4K monitor connected to an adapter. During use the monitor flickers, switches from SDR to HDR and when an image appears, ie I'm using the Logitech button/mouse setup and it uses the on-screen display to change volume and other keyboard functions. . Whenever one of them appeared, I lost the entire picture. Sometimes I could bring it back by moving the mouse or pressing a key, but sometimes I had to restart the monitor and still others I had to shut down the entire system. Since then I've switched to connecting my SHD monitor (1080p) to the adapter and connecting my 4K model directly to the GPU as usual. It seems to be working great so far.
