The scale has all the features I like such as: B. switching between grams, standard ounces and troy ounces. and subtracting the tare weight (when you place the container on the scale to weigh something and you need to subtract the weight of the container). Now for the bad: 1) The scale seems to drift a bit after turning it on, about 0.1g to 0.2g, so let it "warm up" a bit before weighing anything. 2) A 5 gram test weight does not weigh 5 grams! I suspected this as it wasn't registered as a 5g when I tried it but didn't know if the scale needed calibration so I bought a 600g calibration weight. This weight registered exactly 600g. The included 5g test weight only weighed 4.2g (I suspect the 'gold plating' on the test bar was spared when gold prices skyrocketed, making it lighter). 3) To calibrate the scale you MUST purchase a separate 600g calibration weight and only this size as the scale cannot be calibrated to any other weight. That being said, the scale seems wide.
