This is the second one I'm buying, one for the country house, the other for the main residence. I smoke a lot of meat on the Big Green Egg/Kamado Joe and this thing is great for monitoring temperatures both inside the dome and the meat. I have tested it through several smoking sessions, no problems so far. It actually made me realize that the built-in thermometer in my big green egg needed calibration. The app is pretty good and the alerts and monitoring work as advertised. The only small issue with the app is this: I haven't found a way to sync it between two devices (like I did). You must delete the first one in the app to add another one. It doesn't matter much as the pairing is done through the app and takes about 3 seconds and I don't have to do it often. Otherwise the app is great.
