This one is definitely expensive. Long suffered with the election. It was a family investment for my 3 and 6 year olds. The great thing is that they are played again and again. My kids do many different things with them from houses to garages, animals, monsters, robots, vehicles. Finally, there are enough blocks in the set for us to play larger structures interactively. We avoid plastic products with batteries, which hardly affect children's imaginations and are also harmful to the planet. Instead we saved and made this one of our big sets.
