Incorrect wiring on the SATA cable burned SSD and fan controller
These cables look great and are of high quality. The low rating is due to incorrect SATA cable connection. I was able to swap the pins and make the cable usable, but not before trying it out and frying my fan controller and SATA SSD, adding another couple hundred dollars plus lost data to the final cost of this cable set.
