Review on πŸš— VViViD Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Fiber Automotive Vinyl Wrap: Ultimate Black, 1ft x 5ft by Dave Hess

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Required reading for newbies. This vinyl is amazing.

I have used this carbon vinyl along with many others for comparison, Scott Elemento 6 and Tech Art Gloss, 3m Dinoc, Oracal etc. Don't listen to people who say this vinyl is not good . It's all user error. That's the art of application, it's very thick but it fits curved surfaces and hard-to-pack details. Adhesion is not a problem. Use clean microfiber and isopropyl alcohol to minimize dust. Clean any edges and any places you think you can't even touch. When you wrap the interior trim, take it out of the car. Take your time, make sure you always have a fresh blade. Don't overheat it. Remove the protective layer from the top. Vinyl really stands out when applied to curved surfaces. When you put it down, don't stick the stain until you're ready to apply the "glass." Watch the CK Wrap video to learn how to make the vinyl wrap process even better. It has fantastic airflow. Hit it quickly with a heat gun and use a squeegee to flatten it out, don't flatten the "fingers" or you'll get wrinkles, rookie mistake. I trimmed the whole C5 s6 for $22. You cannot beat the depth and brilliance of this material. DO NOT USE EXTERNAL. This is for indoor use only!
