A good product. for surge protection
I bought this item as a universal surge protector. However, I use it as a network filter for my wireless router, cable modem, media server and printer. The only downside to all of this is that the RJ45 ports are NOT capable of handling gigabit speeds. If you run an ethernet cable from the modem to the surge protector, and then from the surge protector to the wireless router, you're only getting 100Mbps. So if that's a downside for you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. I just decided not to use an ethernet cable, just a coax cable.
