They are difficult to open at first but I hope that means they also stay wet longer (sorry I know that's a horrible word) than other similar products. This brand is also wetter than other brands. Depending on the type of surface being cleaned, I recommend using a clean, dry microfiber cloth to avoid smearing. I haven't used them on most of my electronics, but I have used them on my phone screen and my glasses. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they cleared my glasses! I found it easy to dig around the edges where oil and dirt like to hide. If you wear glasses, you know this problem. When using glasses for the first time, pay attention to moisture. You won't get wet, but excess can be squeezed out into a small puddle. This can be a big problem if what you are cleaning has holes in it. You can easily get into these holes more cleanly without much pressure and can possibly cause damage. I recommend wiping down an item with this cloth and immediately using a dry microfiber cloth to remove excess cleaner before moving on to the next item. You should be able to go through a few pieces before it dries. Once it has dried you can definitely work on an item with holes without fear of the cleaner getting into the holes.
