Review on ASUS GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Phoenix Fan Edition Graphics Card (PH-GTX1050TI-4G) with DVI-D, HDMI, and DP 1.4 for Enhanced Gaming Performance by Troy Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Given another chance.

When the card was just installed in early December it worked great. But over time it got naughty, everything I did in Photoshop just got slower and slower. Sometimes it took about two minutes to open images in a simple printing program. Finally, today (March 3, 2020) it crashed and there was no recovery. I had to return it as I suspected something was wrong but I thought maybe there was something wrong with the computer. Now I'm unlucky. Installed my old card and everything works as it should. --- UPDATE: After months of waiting, I found out that an update was coming out for this graphics card, so I decided to reinstall and give it a try. After installing the new update, the map works fine. It used to start every 20 hours or so, but now it never starts. I hope the update fixed the issues my card was having and I can trust it when working with Photoshop projects. Originally a one star rating, I would go lower if I could, I've upped the rating to four stars. Only four stars because I want to wait a few more months to see if the issues are finally fixed. --- UPDATE: Raised my rating to five stars. Since the update the card has never crashed, works great and is faster than ever.
