I bought this ottoman after a long time of shopping but I'm glad I did. I was looking for a specific size storage stool to fit in my closet - I wanted something strong enough to step onto the top shelf in my small but tall and narrow dressing room to sit on comfortably to add extra storage space and to look attractive, and since it's just sitting in my closet it doesn't cost too much. This ticks all the boxes. It has a relatively high weight capacity and I have verified that it is strong enough to stand and sit on without problems. The upper is plush enough to be comfortable but not too soft to stand on or put things on. The fabric with the medallions is beautiful (I think it's mislabeled as "herringbone" - the one I received matches the picture with a brown/cream base and red, orange, green and blue medallions). It keeps a lot of things out of sight and helps keep tight spaces clean and tidy. It arrived in about a week as advertised, acceptably packaged and undamaged.
