Does not fit early 1990 Miata

Contrary to the advertisement, their website and owner's manual, this does not fit my 1990 Miata. It wasn't a question of modification, rather it was too narrow to fit the hole and the bottom would have had to be modified with a saw to avoid hitting the bottom. Even though it's advertised as an adaptive din 2-shaft, the manual starts off by saying that if you have a din stereo you'll need to buy a different kit. Finally, there are small black and white images in the guide showing the tabs you should keep so you can cut off the ones you don't have. I don't want to, but it's hard to read. The manual also says the tabs are labeled on the back so it's easy to tell which ones to keep and which ones to cut off. I had no marks anywhere on the tabs.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No performance
