I first bought the Dash which seems to get the most reviews on Revain, but upon first use I realized it could cook a maximum of 1.5 cups of rice (not the usual size of a cup as a rice cup is only 3/4 of a normal cup) and not enough for two people. Also, I wanted stainless steel, so I kept looking. This one is perfect! It cooks 2 full cups of rice, which is perfect for two people, and the stainless steel pot is made from high quality steel. The rice comes out perfect, no spillage as some here have said. I assume spills if you try to cook more than two and a half cups of rice. Whether the rice turns out raw or too hard depends on the amount of water used. I usually wash the rice several times (it's also a good idea to remove some of the arsenic in the rice), soak it for at least half an hour or more, and then cook it. I immediately ordered a second one to send to my son for college. I highly recommend this product as it is very cheap and you don't have to worry about scratching non-stick surfaces. As for dishwashing, just soak it in water for about half an hour after use and rinse with a sponge very easily. Good price for a mini rice cooker.
