I have been using an almost identical product from another brand for many years and would like to replace it. I thought it would be practically the same with a different logo on it, but I was wrong. There are a few small but important differences that made me want to bring it back right away. The lower part, which takes the tripod screw, just hangs on the inside, so it rattles with every movement. It would have driven me crazy and probably reflected in the audio of the camera. Second, the wheel for turning the screw at the top that goes into the camera is much smaller than my previous one and was difficult to use. This, along with the fact that the screw didn't fit in the chamber, made installation difficult. I would recommend spending a little more money on an item like this than just trying to get a cheap version of it.
