Review on Motorcycle Navigation: TomTom Rider with TomTom Car Mount by Jared Surabhi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Can't trust the stickiness but otherwise works well.

I received the GPS for my TomTom Rider bike for free as a review copy, but I don't own the bike. So my husband found this online and I ordered it. It works very well, except for one thing: while I had a TomTom plugged in that was sitting on my counter and charging, it kept bouncing off the counter. And yes, I know how to make it stick. Below is a suction cup and holds great. And then I left and after a couple of hours I heard a bang. And you can't blame a dirty meter. I carefully cleaned this stain. Glad I could see the TomTom and say it's strong enough to survive a fall. Bad - it caused the fall. Both times. That means no matter what the description says, I can't put it on the window. Now I glued it to the dashboard. It hasn't come loose yet, but the glue is pretty strong.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Good but not great
