I *LOVE* the dimming feature on this clock. I sometimes have trouble sleeping and it's nice to be able to black out the time so I'm not distracted by the clock but still hear (and snooze) the alarm in the morning. The numbers are large (nearly 2 inches) so you can see them from across the room. (The watch itself is 6 inches wide, 3.25 inches high and 1.5 inches wide (at the base).) The watch comes with a rechargeable battery. already installed, but no wall adapter is supplied. (This wasn't a problem for me as I have a multi-port wall adapter next to my bed for other devices that I charge at night. If you don't have an extra adapter, be sure to add it to your cart. ) If you're like me, hate reading instructions. :-) Setting the time is VERY intuitive, setting the radio is not. Although it's not difficult if you read the instructions. :-) (Instructions are easy to follow.) Alarm can be set to radio or "beep". The beep has fifteen volume levels, ranging from soft to fairly loud. The radio works in the FM band and picks up stations very well. I wish it had an AM radio. Although I rarely listen to AM, I still wish I could. I was able to switch off the radio in my bedroom without any problems and take it with me into the kitchen using the battery. The battery stayed charged the whole time I was making breakfast and washing dishes. Well, a bonus - the clock can be converted to a 24-hour format. (My dad always set the clock to 24-hour clock, so it was nostalgic.) All in all, a good little clock radio.
