These spade lugs are pure copper for better connection and conductivity. They are well made, designed to take heavy loads and the copper is thick and very strong. My 2/0 AWG wire fit perfectly and was crimped perfectly making a fantastic cold weld. The shrink tubing that came with it was immediately thrown in the bin. Too thin and they offer no protection. I used my own high quality heat shrink tubing for a strong and well protected connector. I find these tips to be very high quality with very cheap heat shrink tubing. They're great value for money, just use your own heat shrink tubing or order a few and forget about them. I give them 4 stars.
