I wanted a cheap watch for every day. Living in Hawaii we spend a lot of time in the water so 'waterproof' is a must although they are rare in this price range. I don't like investing a lot in watches every day. Under $10 the price was ok. If I can get away from that for a few months, I'll be happy. Very easy to program and navigate. Less than 2 minutes to set the time and date. **Update: Over the last month I've worn this watch a number of times poolside, kayaking, beach, snorkeling and been totally beaten by 4ft waves - and the watch still looks like new. There was never water on his face, I didn't expect him to survive in rougher water. Will this happiness last forever? The time will show. But so far it has exceeded all expectations.
