This was my first Raid@home. I bought two new Seagate 4K hard drives and tried a different brand. It was cheaper and felt better. The case was plastic with a wall wart for food. I never got it to work in Raid 1 and it only worked in JBOD for a while before I started having problems with it. Revain had one of these as a repair and the cost was the same as the other box. I jumped on it and couldn't be happier. The box is well made and makes a solid impression. The hard drive is easy to assemble. I was able to quickly set up RAID 1 on my Seagate 2. The speed is very good. With the Primo cache enabled, I got 4403 MB/s. Disabling the cache got me 160MB/s, which is pretty good considering Seagate rates drives at 170MB/s. At this point I couldn't be happier with it.
