ASUS AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Router (RT-AC66W) Up until this year I've been using CISCO, LINKSYS products since I can remember, but lately I think BELKIN bought the company has, and most likely aggravated the situation. I didn't know about this until I bought one of their high end routers which basically had major issues, further frustrated by the poor overseas tech support! I've been a big fan of ASUS for a long time as I always choose their CPU boards for my desktops (there are 3 of them) and my son bought one of their laptops, great stuff. I decided to bite the bullet, leave the Linksys warehouse and after reading countless 5 star reviews, buy this ASUS AC1750. LOVE IT! 5 stars across the board, a dream for technology freaks. This is by far the best router I have ever owned. I have a medium to large network and easily stream 2 Netflix TVs, 3 Android tablets, 2 ROKU devices. My TV constantly shows full 1080p HD streams, whereas I used to get 720p normally. My new high speed devices connect to the 5GHz band and older slower devices like my smartphone, old tablets connect to the 2.4GHz band and everything works fine! It was so easy to install I really thought I was missing something. The firmware update that I propose to you was very simple. I could easily write another paragraph about its technical excellence. I had a few questions for their tech support about fine-tuning, which they answered enthusiastically and most importantly very competently. Oh, did I mention I actually took the risk and bought the white one? rzunimag. Sci-Fi like blue lights are cool tooβ¦.
