I haven't had it long enough to know anything about its durability. What I love is the size and the large loops that allow me to fit 3 Prismacolor pencils in each, or less if I put in a set of fine liners, markers, etc. A bundle of pencils fits! Not thrilled with the pattern options for this, I chose the Silly Owls pattern as the smaller of the mostly "childish" (to me) or boring monochromatic patterns to choose from. "Silly owls" look like sleeping owls to me, I don't know why they chose the word "stupid" unless something is lost in translation :-) I have $18.39 paid before taxes, which is a few dollars less than now ($22). . Seems well done.
