Not as bad as the reviews claim, but the white tape they use to guide the trail wears out pretty quickly. I used a Sharpie marker and now everything is fine. There were about 20 swings in total, no breaks or interruptions so far. The rubber mat sticks well to hard surfaces, but will shift when placed on grass or carpet. A decent product serves its purpose for me. The thickness of the mat doesn't matter, since the balls on the track are usually above or below your feet anyway.
