This hand blender is practically useless. It doesn't create a vortex or circulate while blending like a well-designed hand blender should. The blades appear to simply spin in the pocket of air with little to no contact with what you are mixing. You have to move it constantly and dip it up and down for a long time to do a thorough blending job, but it never finishes completely. Unless you use the whisk attachment in the bowl that splatters all over the kitchen walls, it's impossible to make mayonnaise with this gadget, which I mostly use for a hand blender. Other than a toy or movie prop, it's absolute junk.
