Review on Bridgestone Potenza S001 225/40 R19 89Y summer by Mateusz Bana ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

225/40/18. 230hp suspension sport package. The car drives like it's on rails. It reacts to the track, but very gently, there is no need to cling to the steering wheel. It sticks to the road. Even at +4, when, as some write, the rubber is oak, you have to try to rip it into the skid. Quiet, bumps pass dully, and not like an empty drum from a well-known manufacturer. Those who say that it is louder than spikes, do not bring game to the masses. Rolls normally. consumption outside the city is about the same as on other wheels, + - 0.2l. Harsh on bumps like rails, if they pass immediately. In domestic mode, rather than rigidity, but elasticity. One of the best options in terms of price / quality ratio. Fortunately, in 25 years of driving I tried a huge amount of different rubber.

Pros
  • Quiet, clings to the asphalt tightly, strong.
Cons
  • Hard enough passes small irregularities, such as rails. This is more likely not a disadvantage, but a thick sidewall.
