Review on 2 TB External HDD ADATA DashDrive Durable HD650, USB 3.2 Gen 1, Blue by Chae Hahm ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

It is inconvenient to connect it to a TV set that hangs on the wall, so I had to put it in a case. It would be nice if the developers gave some thought to the possibility of hanging the disc (for instance, a hole for a cord, or something else like a carabiner), as it would be nice to not have to put it in a case (I bought it separately, because going to no kit.) As a result, I attached a hook to the TV bracket and hung it there. You are able to fix the issue by installing a new cable that is far longer than the one that comes with the package; however, this is not being done at this time. It is important to note that it will not start with any cable, specifically a thin cable; instead, it will make noises like squeaking and clicking. Because of this, it is important to select the cable carefully so that you do not have to claim later that the disk did not start. In addition, do not forget that, just as with any other external hard drive, in order to avoid damaging the disk heads, you must first make sure that the mouse has been completely disabled before detaching the drive from the computer (there is sad experience out of ignorance, with another disk)

Pros
  • The appearance is appealing, it is resistant to shock, and it is quick in reading and writing. Does not generate any heat. Quickly gets going, maintains its speed throughout, and never stops moving altogether. Quiet. The cost is within reasonable limits (bought in the summer for 2700)
Cons
  • 1) The disk cannot be hung because there is no means to do so. 2) The kit does not come with any sort of casing of its own. 3) A more compact cable.
