My daughter wanted me to look at her dog sometimes, but the dog has separation anxiety. We decided to give it a try. The dog was excited after my daughter left so I put on a vest. The dog immediately calmed down. I bought a second vest to keep with my daughter when she leaves her dog alone. The dog seems to like the vest, it stays in place when we put it on. We turn on the music, I can't tell if it helps or not. The melody is short and repeats itself over and over again, it would annoy me if I had to listen to it for a very long time. We also give her Calm's chewable tablets, both seem to help. It's not magic, one night she barked and growled at something in the backyard. Neither the vest nor the sedatives helped. The dog weighs 40 pounds, medium fits her. We also tried the large one, it fits but is too big.
