First of all, this review only applies to the ceiling fan and dimmer combo. It's weird that they have two different products on the same listing. But if they want both products to have the same ratings, that's probably their choice. Second, I have no idea how well this product may or may not work. It was not compatible with my ceiling fan. So if you have the right configuration then you can ignore my assessment. But I wanted to write a review because the product description says it works for thrust ceiling fans. It is not true. If your fan has a cord, that means the fan control is on the ceiling and not the wall switch where this unit is installed. All your existing switch does is power the fan, and then use the pull switches to turn the lights on and off and adjust the fan speed. These pull switches do not interact with the light switch and unless you run new wires from the wall switch to the fan they cannot be used with this unit. clear to me and the description does not suggest it.
