I don't even remember when I bought it (over 2 years ago) but it's still holding up well, the rectangular box does get warm after a while but that happens with most anyway chargers. The battery in my PC is pretty bad at the moment (it's junk and won't charge anymore) but to be honest the laptop is +-6 years old and has been dropped a few times; Therefore, the battery issue may not be entirely (if at all) related to a different brand of charger. It's just a fact that you all need to keep in mind.
