It's hard to keep the desk upright and not keep folding it. I also can't block the part of the table that goes up, and I hate when I make a move and it goes up. My laptop keeps crashing and stuff. It's also quite short so when fully extended it sits right on my lap, although I probably would have liked a little more height. Super great product and I can use it for everything. Does what I need to hold my laptop and mouse and all the extra stuff. However, the box may be small. UPDATE: Your customer service team contacted me and they were very nice. They gave me some advice to make sure I have all the materials I need and use them properly so that the problems I was asking about were solved. You mentioned a piece of metal which is a great tool for securing the top of the device, but it's not perfect for my Surface. However, it was great to convey this information and I appreciate it. As I said before, I will continue to use it. If this doesn't fit your laptop, you can use it as a food tray!
