I was looking for warm socks that don't feel like you're in a sauna after a few hours, especially when you're sleeping. I've tried SO MANY socks. The search is over! They are ideal for cold days or nights. I can walk on cold tile floors without slippers and my feet are still warm. They are not warm enough to make your feet sweat. I can actually sleep in it and don't want to take it off because I get hot in the middle of the night. They seem to adjust to your body temperature because it was very cold one night and they kept my toes warm. The next day when I did the cleanse it got warm but my feet didn't feel sweaty or too warm. I was very surprised about that. They go well with all my boots and shoes. Padding over the entire sole of the foot. The pillow is not thick, bulky. It actually seems to be the right amount. When I first received them I was a bit worried that the toe box might cause problems because they don't fit properly or are too big. But after one wash everything was fine. Best of all, these socks are MADE IN THE USA. In terms of size, I wear size 7.5 shoes. I bought the size medium and it fits perfectly. Follow the washing instructions: wash inside out in cold water. Don't put them in the dryer. They dry very quickly, so no problem. I love these socks so much that I immediately bought another pair. I plan to gradually replace all my socks with Darn Tough brand.
