Purple ink flows from the head when soaked - see photo

Problem 1: No care label Problem 2: If you soak an elephant and squeeze its head, all the purple color comes out. Where is it from? The elephant isn't even purple! Are there purple beads in the head? My child always eats elephants - does he eat purple ink too?
